I'm going because I'm a little burnt out on SES and thought it'd be good to mix it up a little. Like SES, I expect that most of the panels are going to be too basic, but there's always that one little nugget buried in a Q&A or a conversation... all it takes is one really good idea that I can follow up on.

Not to mention that a week in Vegas in November should be more pleasant than a December week in Chicago.

Its all about the networking and buying the right people the right drinks. I usually have my hit list of people to track down. The sessions are merely jumping off points and provide easy opportunities to introduce yourself to others.

I'm going to see some old friends and put faces to the new ones. It's also the only time of year when golfing in Vegas doesn't require an IV every 3 holes.

If WMW is focused on the novice, then SES is focused on the apprentice to the novice. The networking is really what these things are about, don't you think?

I'm going, if only to network with the FHM models at the Hard Rock blackjack tables... :)
