I noticed there's a name missing on your list, ICanHas***.com. I registered it a while back and have been building it up. The cheezburger site currently gets 2 million uniques a day. Even a small slice of that market would be worth pursuing. As always, niche differentiation is the best way to go. To all the rest of you, don't even try competing with cheezburger. Just find a niche and exploit it. The Star Wars variant on this craze is an example.
