I had about 40 - 50 important documents stored in a hotmail account and also on my hard drive. The hard drive was totaly frazzeled by a Windows crash and the hotmail account expired after 30 days of not visiting it. Another reason not to use Microsoft products ;) I know the feeling. One idea could be if they applied more weight to accounts with the right age of account/ratings ratio, as in the future I can imagine Stumbleupon being "over-milked" for lack of a better term.
