No hard feelings on deleting my links. Was that spammy? Like I said, I’m a newbie, and no one seems to teach anything about blog etiquette. Not faw nuthin’, but I sent the link to this blog to over 50 CP’s at Associated Content because I thought it was good information for content producers.

As an internet searcher I thought Google was Amazing. I’ve found really interesting things that I wasn’t even looking for! Kinda like going for a Sunday drive without a destination. I’ve also found really good, specific things returned in my searches. Now as a "searchee" …I’m dizzy from confusion. SEO is chaos! I’m still going to just produce good content, and hope they eventually program the robots to tell the difference!

SEO is a bunch of crap. It turns writers into mindless word mills. I've fallen to it and it makes me want to puke when I read my SEO infested articles. I used to write for the print world and I could be proud of what I wrote.

I'm holding out hope that eventually the SEO concept will fall by the wayside and people can go back to writing quality rather than keywords.

Editor's Note: Sorry, angst lady, but no back link for you. I'm pretty tired of "angst because it's hip" stuff and it really, truly shouldn't be dropped just anywhere on the web, especially on this SEO blog. As for your SEO comment, you got it all wrong. The day you stopped writing for yourself and started writing the crap you complain about, you sold out. Why should anyone feel sympathy for how hat makes you feel?

I guess I have a lot to learn! Thank you for this article I feel a little more grown up now! I'm a newbie, so feel free to laugh at me after you read these (links deleted)

Welcome Kevin, but I deleted the article links as they don't serve my readers nor enhance the conversation.
