Obama’s Car (Cadillac)
Obama’s Car is a Cadillac, armored and fully-equipped with US Government special ordered electronics and protective systems.
Interesting to see it’s Cadillac. I’m used to seeing trains of SUVs escorting the US President around… or maybe I watch too many espionage movies. If Barack Obama is in the Caddy, then there will be decoy caddies around I suppose, so maybe we’ll start seeing trains of black Cadillacs instead of black Yukons. Better for the environment? A little?

This Obama’s Cadillac One (model 2009) doesn’t differ much from the Bush’s Cadillac One (model 2005).
BTW this limo is heavy as a tank and it has also similar fuel consumption. Maybe Hummer H1 would be better for the environment. :)

Did you see Obama (or any one for that mater) standing next to this thing? Its freaking huge. Looks normal in the photos, looks more SUV height when people are next to it.

This car is amazing! It is as heavy as a tank because it basically is one, the only thing different is that this tank blocks biological attacks; the doors are all sealed air tight.
PS spinners would be sweet…

Um, they been using this car for awhile, and they always use caddy’s…don’t make him to be cooler than everyone else thinks he is, it’s annoying and you look stupid.

I wonder if he’ll switch brands after the GM bankruptcy? What a sad state of affairs for the US car industry. And it would have been so simple to just copy the dashboards from lexus. They had to stick it out with the bright orange dials when anyone sitting in the car would look at the dash and just think… yuck. It doesn’t matter how well a car drives if the people don’t feel good about what they see when they sit in the cockpit.

This is a big car, can’t be doing any good on the environment, but there has been a lot of change in America so why can’t there be change in his car!!! At least he is driving around in an American made car.

Now that is some Presidential car, talk about heavy Armour but this is the new President that even before he was swarn in there were death threats so if I was him I would want to be in that car, thats for sure.

I’ve heard that couple of months after the presentation of the president Caddy, russians presented the new president limo as an aswer. Seems that Putin’s limo beats the Caddy by many parameters.

Yeah, russians have always been a bit ahead in the military tech, yet their comfort level sucks as usually. When Joseph Stalin had his first limo developed he was placing engineers inside the car and had gunmen shoot at the car. This is how he ensured the quality.
